Reservation Fee:
The Reservation Fee is 70% of the Total Rent Due with a maximum Reservation Fee equal to the Monthly Rental Rate.

Due to the higher temperatures in June thru September, which result in higher Electric Charges, we charge a higher Security Deposit during these 4 months. This is to allow enough money on deposit to cover the anticipated Electric Charges for up to 1 month as well as allow at least $500 on reserve for potential damages.
 
Final Payment and Payment of Security Deposit:
Upon arrival at the airport, you should have your transportation service bring you to the DR4Sale office in El Cortecito, Bavaro. At the office, you will sign a copy of the Short Term Rental Terms and Conditions Agreement (this document) and we will also require a copy of your passport. You will also pay the remaining balance of 30% of the Rental Rate as well as the required Security Deposit.
 
At the condo, our Check-In/Check-Out Agent will perform a complete inspection of the condo, review a complete inventory with you, and show you how things work.   You will then sign and receive a copy of the Check-In/Check-Out Form.
 
                                                                                                           
Tenant is responsible for Electric Consumption for Weekly and Monthly Rentals:
There will be an actual Meter Reading at both Check-In and Check-Out and Tenant will be charged the Actual Usage during the rental period. Charges for Electric Consumption will automatically be deducted from the Security Deposit.   As of September 2010, the Electric Company (CEPM) charges _____________RD $ /KwHr.
 
Damage Inspection:
Tenant accepts responsibility for said Property and its Contents during the period of this Rental Agreement. Any Damages as a result of the Tenant will be deducted from the paid Security Deposit. A complete inventory will be verified at both Check-In and Check-Out, in the presence of the Tenant, as well as a test of all Plumbing and Electronics.
 
Refund of Security Deposit:
The Security Deposit will be first used to pay any applicable Electrical Consumption Charges and Damage Charges, if any. Any remaining portion of the Security Deposit will be refunded using the same payment method as DR4Sale was paid.
 
Internet Service:
Ask your DR4Sale Booking Agent for details regarding the Internet Service available for your rental.
 
Maid Service:
Maid Service during your stay is available for an additional fee. Ask your DR4Sale Booking Agent for additional details and pricing.
 
Concierge and/or Transportation Services:
It can be arranged so that an English speaking driver will pick you up from the airport and deliver you to your condo for a charge of US $40. The driver will also return you to the airport at the end of your vacation for the same fee. Additional grocery shopping and transportation services are available for an additional fee. Ask your DR4Sale Booking Agent for additional details and pricing.
 
 
 
                                                                                                           
Cancellation Policy:

Conditions for Eviction:
If there are ever complaints from the community or neighbors, you are discovered participating in illegal activities, or ever become hostile towards any employee of DR4Sale, you will be provided 24 hours notice to vacate the rental property. If asked to vacate the rental property, you will be refunded 50% of the unused balance for your stay. This will be calculated by dividing your Total Rental Rate by the Number of Days Reserved multiplied by the Number of Days Remaining in your stay multiplied by 50%.
 
Online Payment Processing Fees:
Any Online Payments are subject to a 5% up-charge for processing and transfer of funds.
 
Wire Transfer Fees:
Any Wire Transfers are subject to a US $50 up-charge for processing and transfer of funds and incoming wire fees charged to the receiver. The Tenant is responsible for paying for Wire Transfer Fees charged by the Sending, Intermediary, or Receiving Banks.
 
Liability
DR4Sale is not responsible and is not legally or financially liable for any damage, injury, or death related to the ownership or occupancy of said property. It is the Owner’s responsibility to secure proper property and liability insurance to cover any losses that may arise including, but not limited to, defects in construction, injury and/or death of occupants, fire, hurricane or other natural disasters.
